East Forest Park, Springfield, Massachusetts : ウィキペディア英語版 | East Forest Park, Springfield, Massachusetts East Forest Park is a neighborhood in the south central part of Springfield, Massachusetts, beginning about two miles from Metro Center. It is a medium sized neighborhood, containing plus rights of way and water bodies. Principal boundaries are Watershops Pond to the north; the Town of East Longmeadow to the south; Schneelock Brook to the east; and the former Highland Division Rail Line to the west. The neighborhood borders East Longmeadow, Forest Park, and the Sixteen Acres neighborhood. East Forest Park contains a wide variety of pre and post-World War II homes on the hillside of Watershops Pond, Springfield's largest body of water (other than the Connecticut River) and custom-built colonials and Tudors as well as capes and ranches. Several small commercial areas are located on Island Pond Road and Sumner Avenue. The neighborhood is home to Cathedral High School, the city's only Catholic secondary school.
